These popular review management software platforms – Birdeye, Rize Reviews, Podium and ReviewTrackers didn’t meet my criteria for small business owners.
Birdeye and Rize Reviews both require prospects to complete a form or demo prior to offering pricing information.
One of my pet peeves is software tools that don’t put the customer first by including a pricing page (with actual pricing) on their website.
Podium, at $289/mo is prohibitively expensive for most small business owners. Review management software is just one aspect of business marketing, and this kind of pricing simply doesn’t reflect that reality.
ReviewTrackers is still a little spendy at $119/mo, but may be a good option for some small businesses.
Of all the marketing activities a small business can invest in, I rank online reviews very high on the list. In some cases, Yelp can rank higher than a small business URL, and it’s because aggregated review sites like Yelp get LOTS of internet traffic.
