What about Birdeye, Rize Reviews, Podium, and ReviewTrackers?
These popular review management software platforms – Birdeye, Rize Reviews, Podium and ReviewTrackers didn’t meet my criteria for small business owners.
Birdeye and Rize Reviews both require prospects to complete a form or demo prior to offering pricing information.
One of my pet peeves is software tools that don’t put the customer first by including a pricing page (with actual pricing) on their website.
Podium, at $289/mo is prohibitively expensive for most small business owners. Review management software is just one aspect of business marketing, and this kind of pricing simply doesn’t reflect that reality.
ReviewTrackers is still a little spendy at $119/mo, but may be a good option for some small businesses.
Final Thoughts
Of all the marketing activities a small business can invest in, I rank online reviews very high on the list. In some cases, Yelp can rank higher than a small business URL, and it’s because aggregated review sites like Yelp get LOTS of internet traffic.
People trust reviews, and the more reviews the better.
Without review management software (or all-in-one marketing software) with built-in review or reputation management feature), the process of gathering customer reviews can be arduous.
